My Approach
Each person’s situation and perspective is unique. Therefore, I draw from a variety of empirically-validated therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT – sometimes referred to as “Third-Wave CBT”), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Depending on a client’s interests and needs, I also combine psychotherapy practice with mindfulness practice and strategies, as I have found that combining the two has been helpful for many of my clients.
